Episode 1 - "The Revenge of Jubei":
Japan, 1614 - The Tokugawa Shogunate bans Christianity and slaughters all of its practitioners. The survivors can only place their faith in the prophecy that a Child of Heaven will be born to deliver the faithful from their enemies.
